VALLEY CWM BYCHAN A picturesque valley tucked into the heart of the Rhinogs leading to the Roman steps and on to Rhinog Fawr. Cwm Bychan
CROESOR A quiet valley with a resident community and the remains of the mining past. Overshadowed by Cnicht and Moelwyn Mawr on each side. Cwm Croesor
BEACH HARLECH A stunning beach with sweeping golden sands and a backdrop of sand-dunes, the castle and the Snowdon massive mountains. Harlech beach
LLANDANWG An attractive beach with rockpools at low tide with some birdlife. Some rip currents can be very dangerous. Llandanwg beach
ESTURARY MAWDDACH A magnificant estuary flanked by mountains. It is possible to walk alongit's side on an old train line path. Mawddach
WOODLAND ABERGWYNGREGYN A mixed, native woodland with plenty of wildlife including badgers. woodland
COED Y BRENIN A coniferous forest with many trainls for mountain biking. Coed y Brenin
MOOR MIGNEINT A large expanse of moorland high up on a plateaux from which start several of the Snowdonia rivers. Migneint Moor
DENBIGH A long stretching, windswept moor with a remote feel. Denbigh moor
GORGE CYNFAL A terrifically steep and high gorge with breath-taking waterfalls. The dramatic scene can be taken in from a viewing platform. Rhaeadr Cynfal
FAIRY GLEN An enchanted secret gorge which you have to seek out to find. Fast white water rushes through after heavy rainfall. Fairy Glen
